Annual Scholarship Program
The Construction Industry Center Board of Directors has established this scholarship program in an effort to encourage and assist young people in our communities who have chosen to study a field in the construction industry. There will be, at a minimum, four (4) awards of $500.00 each given to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements as listed below. Scholarships will be limited to one per year per award winner. The eligible individuals will be judged on the basis of scholastic achievement, community service, school and non-school activities and their answers to the essay questions on the application form. The judging will be done impartially without basis of religion, race, gender or age. Deadline for applications is March 31, 2012. Award winners will be notified by May 1. Winners will be presented with a certificate, which will be redeemable after August 1 by providing C.I.C. with school registration confirmation. There will be a limit of four (4) scholarships awarded to an individual.
